Governor of New Jersey, USA, Chris Christie, on Tuesday, said that the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, is to blame for the 2014 kidnapping of 219 Chibok girls.
Christie, who was passed over by Donald Trump as his running mate, stated this while speaking at the National Republican Party Convention in Cleveland.
Clinton served as the secretary of state to the Obama administration and had allegedly refused to include Boko Haram in the terror watch list.
Christie said, “What happened because of this reckless action by the candidate who is the self-proclaimed champion of women around the world? These terrorists abducted hundreds of innocent young girls two years ago. These schoolgirls are still missing today.
“What was the solution from the Obama/Clinton team? A hashtag campaign!”
