Every day on the Nigerian internet, there are people who keep our eyes glued to our phone screens as we read their rants, opinions, perspectives on political and social matters, etc. Sometimes, they are just downright ridiculous. We make it our job to take down the names of these noisemakers.
The Senate plenary Wednesday was disrupted after thugs invaded the chamber and took the mace away.
The incident happened few seconds after suspended Senator Ovie Omo-Agege entered the chamber.
They left the National Assembly with the mace in a black SUV.
The Senator has, however, been arrested and the mace recovered.
Here’s our list from today:

How you go enter @NGRSenate go steal mace?
— JJ. Omojuwa (@Omojuwa) April 18, 2018
Just like money being ‘taken’ without reasons.
This seems like a perfectly planned work. Where were the security guards when this happened?

Thieves stole official Mace from @NGRSenate on live TV? When you think you've heard it all! pic.twitter.com/M5voiPgE2G

Outrageous and Condemnable, thugs invasion of @NGRSenate Chambers and snatching of its mace. Legislature is the difference between Dictatorship and Democracy and its Sanctity must be defended by all. Perpetrators must be brought to account @PoliceNG @HouseNGR @SituationRoomNg

5. Nigerian Senate
The Senate still resumed session after the mace was taken away.
15 minutes ago, the @NGRSenate resumed plenary after coming out of an Executive (closed door) Session where the earlier incident of forceful removal of the mace was deliberated upon. pic.twitter.com/sYQgmVoN2k

I suppose Buhari arranged with Ome-Agege to hijack the mace right? Isn't it stupid to elect thugs & criminals at different level in your states & simply blame the president for the insane acts of sick representatives. You guys should learn to be objective in your criticism

9. Ayodele Fayose
Shamefully embarrassing that for the first time since 1999, the National Assembly was invaded by thugs and the Senate Symbol of Authority taken away. Only thugs with Presidential backing could have carried out that treasonable act & those involved must be treated like coupists.

Some replies:
This is wrong but you are also wrong too. GEJ your hero locked the NASS which made @aminutambuwal and others to scale the fence. Did you travel then?
— Dick A. (@ajealadick) April 18, 2018
Shamefully Embarrassing that for the first time since 1999, You Governor Fayose led thugs to beat up a sitting judge on September 23, 2014 in Ado Ekiti and you got away with it. Sit down https://t.co/6IgYVJXPB5
