Margaret Emefiele, Wife of the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele who was abducted by kidnappers has been released.
Accoding to Vanguard, family sources said she was rescued “due to the gallantry of the Armed Forces, Police and Security Forces”, in Ugoneki near Benin City.
It was gathered that she is currently recuperating at the Government House, Asaba.
It was learnt that Margaret and four others were released around 1am on Saturday.
A police source said, “The kidnappers released the victims around 1am. We found them around the bush beside the expressway where they were kidnapped. Investigations are ongoing.”
