Reports say a Medview aircraft flying from Lagos to Abuja made an ’emergency’ landing at the domestic wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos .
Describing the plane’s return as ‘precautionary’ measure, the aircraft – a Boeing 737 with registration number 5NBPB which had 5 crew members and 99 passengers on board landed safely at the MMA2 five minutes after take off.
It was alleged that the reason for the emergency landing was that there was smoke in the cabin which triggered the fire alarm on the plane.
