He has just released his new albums sure, but in rare footage, 9ice recalls what made him one of Nigeria’s favourites with performance of two of his songs, ‘No be mistake’ and ‘Gbamu Gbamu’. These songs which are from his Tradition album, which was released in December 2009, still remain popular.

The album especially generated a lot of controversy, especially with the track ‘Once bitten’. This song generated a war of words between 9ice and Ruggedman. A recorded version of a private phone conversation between Ruggedman and 9ice was posted on the Internet by Ruggedman and both artistes have recorded ‘diss’ tracks.
