It was earlier reported that the kidnapped Igbonla school pupils, with the intervention of the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, were released today.

The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has on Twitter, confirmed their release, saying the students are currently on their way to Lagos.

Kidnapped Igbonla Model College students who were today released in Ondo State are currently on their way to Lagos.
