It’s code black for actresses at the 2018 Golden Globes

In what started off as a joke, more than 30 Hollywood actresses who will be attending and presenting the 2018 Golden Globes will be wearing black.

Why?

They have chosen the colour as a way of protesting the sexual misconduct allegations that are currently rocking the industry.

An insider told E! News, “They’re all going to be wearing black, obviously to protest the injustices that have been taking place in Hollywood since forever”.

 

Burna Boy postpones concert in the heat of controversy

If you were looking to ‘Rock your body’ with dancehall star, Burna Boy this weekend, then you may need to sit back and chill as the concert has now been postponed.

In a statement that was released on Thursday, promoters of the show cited the allegations of complicity in the robbery and beating up of Mr 2kay at the Eko Hotel & Suites in October, as basis for the decision.

The statement reveals that Burna needs time in this challenging period while maintaining the singer’s innocence in the matter.

Although a new date is yet to be communicated, Burna took to Twitter to promise a narration of his side of the story but he’s yet to follow through.

 

Cardi B gifts fiancé, Offset with Rolls Royce

What better way to celebrate your 26th birthday than have your wife-to-be bless you with an expensive ride.

Migos rapper, Offset got the biggest surprise when rapper, Cardi B who he recently got engaged to in a public proposal, presented him a Rolls Royce Wraith for his birthday.

She also presented him a stunning watch that matched the crystal-laden shirt he was wearing.

 

Yemi Alade releases third album

After endless weeks of anticipation, Black Magic is now out.

The 15-track album comes nearly 2 years after Yemi Alade’s sophomore album, Mama Africa: The Diary of an African woman.

With only two features – Olamide and Falz, Black Magic is now available for purchase across platforms and Yemi Alade is not taking things slow as she just featured on a Beats 1 interview with Ebro Darden where she promotes the project.
