August, unlike Art November, is a slow month for art exhibitions, with most galleries being on a break for the majority of the month. This month is scattered with just a few exhibitions and curated collections from select art galleries, making it a slow month for art in Lagos.
- Constellations

The Iwalewa Gallery of Arts is hosting a group exhibition by five artists, and the exhibition runs from the 14th of August till the 17th of August.
- Condition Make Crayfish Bend

This exhibition is one for people who enjoy having knowledge of terracotta. It is hosted by the KO Art space and curated by Ngozi-Omeje Ezema and runs until the 22nd of August.
- In Translation

Hosted by the Kokopelli Art Gallery, this is a group exhibition of African artists from Nigeria, Kenya, and Eswatini, and it runs until the 29th of August.
- What Comes To Mind When You See The Garment

Hosted by FF Projects, this is an art exhibition curated by Stephen Tayo. It is running for the entirety of August.
- Ka O Di Mgbe Anyi G’afu Ozo: Until We Meet Again

This is a group exhibition opening on the 30th of August and hosted by the Center for Contemporary Arts.
- Relational Waters

This is an art exhibition curated by three visual artists, Emmanuel Zannou, Kunle Ogunfuyi, and Timpire Willis Amah, and it runs from the 15th of August till the 29th of August. It is hosted by the Pyramid Art Centre.
