Militant group, Bakassi Strike Force based in Cross River state, has enjoined their fellow comrades in arms, the Niger Delta Avengers, to “sheathe their swords” and refrain from destroying oil and pipelines installations.

Speaking on Channels Television, leader of the group, Simple Benjamin urged the Federal Government to listen to the demands of the Niger Delta Avengers and to be mindful of its words.

Benjamin also appealed to Nigerian security agencies to “tread carefully” so as not to aggravate the already precarious situation.
