We hear of the term “housewife” all the time but there is a growing number of men switching roles to become “house-husbands.”
In many parts of the world, this is common practice but it seems rare in Nigeria so Battabox this week decided to go out into in the street to ask if a Nigerian man can be a house husband.
“Ah! my religion does not permit that!” says one man sincerely. “The church says a man should go and look for money to feed his wife,” one man said.
“I cannot be a house husband because that’s not the purpose of a real man,” says another Lagosian. “A real man is supposed to be bringing money home for the woman. That’s what makes you a real man.”
He then goes on to add – “as a wife she needs to be submissive.”

I pray nothing in anyway, will make me do the *house husband* thing. It's not biblical. The bible said; a man who can't provide for his family is worse than infidale. GOD will always keep me making the money so I can be the man of the home
