Thanks to a rather geometric increase in the number of young people in Nigeria, the church is beginning to take conversations on youth more seriously than ever before. Creative content to either keep them engaged or meet their constantly changing needs are now taking centre stage in church communications like never before, either via outreaches, youth events and the mother of them all – youth churches. One of such is the City Church Lagos – a gospel-centred urban church with a vision to catalyse a gospel-centred movement that renews the city of Lagos spiritually, socially and culturally.

As the subject of marriage, singleness and sex evolves into a major, the church (City Church Lagos) has refused to be sidelined but has decided to take an active part in shaping this conversation. Hence, the Single in Lagos event.

Single in Lagos is an initiative of City Church Lagos that aims to equip singles of all ages to live fulfilled godly lives, whether they are preparing to be in a relationship, searching for a suitable partner or are already in dating relationships.

The City Church Lagos albeit slightly unpopular has continued to drive conversation along the lines that have been abandoned in Christian circles.

The event holds on the Friday, June 15th at 11:30 am and Saturday, June 16th at 10 am at City Lodge Hotel, 1 Goshen Estate Road, Elf Bus Stop, Lekki Peninsula, Lagos.
