The buzz about the trending topic #DeprivedNaijaChildhood was crazy last night. The interesting line of tweets and retweets that followed was started by @bubusn. What was this all about? @steph_okoh tried give an insight in her tweet, “I guess #DeprivedNaijaChildhood should just be – If u grew up sheltered or as we call it ‘buttered’”.

And guess what? It trended at number three worldwide! Now, I’d rather not rant about Twitter’s beef for Naija (or why else don’t we trend at number one no matter our best efforts?!). @kunledee helped me out in his tweet which read: “I see no reason why #DeprivedNaijaChildhood is not trending at no 1 sef…twitter dey beef Naija!”
