Fashion is very versatile especially for ladies; there are ways to spice up every type of outfit so that you come out looking chic. This even includes men’s wear; a woman can walk into a store, shop in the men’s section, dress up and turn heads.

Here are some tips to guide you in pulling of the men’s fashion without looking like you raided your boyfriends’ closet in haste. 

The Boyfriend Jacket

This is a blazer and/or jacket that come in a size larger in width and length. To pull of this look,

1.     Roll the sleeves up to the elbows to give it a more feminine vibe and adorn your wrists with bracelets

2.     The boyfriend blazer can be paired with skinny jeans so that the fitted denim is well proportioned with the oversized jacket.

3.     A brooch on the lapels of the boyfriend blazer gives it a more feminine vibe.

4.     For an effortlessly chic daytime out fit, you can’t go wrong with a classic white collared shirt, denim jeans and a bright coloured blazer.

The blazer provides a sort of frame for the outfit; it can be worn over any item of clothing.     

                                   

The ties and bow ties

 

 This is a trend very popular among the men however what a man can wear, a woman can wear better. Ties and bow ties are usually worn on the collar of dress shirts and give the ensemble a formal look. For a lady to pull this look of she requires any of these items: a dress shirt, semi fitted pants or a mini skirt, heeled shoes and a tie or bow tie in an outstanding colour so that it stands out. 

The boyfriend jeans

 

These are jeans that are a bit fitted around the butt, but then are free flowing and slightly sags on the way down. They are more relaxed unlike the skinny jeans which is figure hugging. Despite the baggy look of these jeans, they can be glammed up by rolling up the cuff, wearing brightly coloured heeled shoes, a sequined tank top and a blazer, now that is looking edgy yet feminine in men’s wear.

 The high top sneakers

These are shoes that are worn mostly by men. They are sneakers that extend over the ankles. If worn well, a lady can avoid looking like a total tom boy and look sexy in high-tops sneakers. High tops can be worn over skinny jeans, high tops can be worn with denim shorts, and also they can be worn with a cropped top. A lady doesn’t always have to wear four inch heels, she can also pull off wearing sneakers like most men do and still look effortlessly chic.

 The Suspenders

These are originally a male fashion accessory that is used to hold men’s pants in place. Ladies can also pull this look off and look even more stunning, by pairing brightly coloured suspenders with fitted skinny jeans. 

Other items of masculine fashion that ladies look absolutely chic in are the fedora which looks great worn over falling hair, the waist coat, and also the tuxedo.

The key to pulling off men’s fashion and turning head is in the proportions and the accessories. In terms of the proportions, men’s wear which have a more lose fit should be accompanied with a top or bottom which is more fitted and reveals feminity. Accessories are key in men inspired outfits as they give life to the ensemble and also scream ‘I am a woman who looks great in my boyfriends’ clothes’.
