Jide Omokore, the chairman of Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Nigeria Limited and a close associate of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, was on Monday arraigned before a federal high court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)

Omokore, who was arrested alongside, former Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Andrew Yakubu, on June 20th, is facing a four count charge of laundering N400 million.

The businessman was arraigned alongside, Yakubu, Abiye Memnere, Victor Briggs, Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Limited, David Mbanefo and Atlantic Energy Brass Development Limited, before Justice Binta Nyako.
