Information such as the background of the artist, the artist statement and maybe back stories behind some of the pieces and the names of the pieces exhibited (if any) help to give the reader of the post a fair idea of what the exhibition really is about.
Don't be content with just presenting the news, be deeply interested in presenting it within a particular context.
