The highly anticipated fashion magazine, Mania was launched yesterday, 20 Februray 2011 to a selection of top entertainment and fashion industry professionals. The editorial team – which includes the talented duo, stylist Dimeji Alara and photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi – promised to push all the boundaries, and from all indications, they have delivered on their promise.
The debut April/May 2011 issue which was recently revealed features a ‘Fearless’ cover – beauty and cosmetic professional, Modupe Ozolua, like you have never seen before! Mania takes a giant step as Ms Ozolua poses topless – yes, topless! – on Mania’s cover, her back adorned with a beautiful tatoo, while she sports a disc-shaped hairdo which is reminiscent of a flat-topped Ascot hat.
Feature stories in the debut issue include an article on Keziah Jones, and a piece titled ‘Lose weight – the thinner the better’. Kudos to the Mania team!
