“Why do our leaders furnish their houses every year?” – Fela Durotoye on #FuelSubsidyRemoval

“Let them try all they can.”

Bomb Attacks…Lekki Toll by force….Rising unemployment..Global economic recession…Still no power and no security and now.

No Fuel Subsidy for Africa’s leading producer of crude oil…yet we can’t manage a single refinery because of corruption acclaimed by successive governments…. yet not a single arrest or conviction by a court of law.

Now we all must pay for the misdeeds of our so-called leaders who are all being given national awards for ‘eating the sour grapes that are setting our teeth on edge.’

What then do we say to these things?

Do you sometimes feel like there is a coordinated plan and concerted effort to frustrate the Nigerian Dream and abort the future of our nation?   Yet, I still believe that against all odds and “powers that be”, we WILL Deliver the Future.

2Cor 4v 8-9: We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

Let them try all they can. The dream of a New Nigeria as a most desirable society remains firm in our hearts. We are stronger than this. We will not be broken. We are the New Nigeria and we will not stop until we Deliver the Future.  FD
