Jada Pinkett revealed that she knew Tupac Shakur way before they became stars via Instagram by sharing some old high school and year book photos.

She and the  late rapper were best friends back  at school when they were studying performing arts at the Baltimore School for the Arts in the 1980s.

Though they were not speaking at the time of his death, Tupac had always referred to the singer as ‘His heart’ and a ‘friend for life’

Jada met and married Will Smith a year after Tupac was shot dead.
