Gaise Baba’s new song, Holy Sauce is infusing Kingdom Content with Urban Sound and we love it

Gaise Baba Holy Sauce

After releasing his last single – Womina mid-2017, Lagos based artist Akinade Ibuoye popularly known as Gaise Baba has been busy with his new project – LightOut, deploying his music and entertainment across secondary schools to counsel, inspire, guide aright and mentor the students to make wise decisions as they navigate their way through the critical season of adolescence. He, alongside his team, have in the past weeks organised LightOut concerts at King’s College, Greensprings School, Queen’s College and Federal Science and Technical College Yaba.

And, in a bid to continue engaging culture, he has teamed up with four (4) young and amazing artistes – Angeloh, TobiToun, Oluwanifise and Manolo on his latest recording – HOLY SAUCE.

Holy Sauce might not be in your usual praise and worship genre, but it is definitely not unusual. The song – Holy Sauce, infused with elements of melody and rap on a trap beat, is an urban adaptation of us being salt of the earth. It’s a jam and a half and you will vibe to it for a long time.

Watch a 58-second snippet of Holy Sauce below:

Holy Sauce was produced, mixed and mastered by Cecil ‘Tesla’ Oiku and in just about 5 minutes, reminds us again that there is more to Kingdom Based songs than the usual Praise and Worship and we are here for all of that.

Big ups to Gaise Baba who is continually setting the tone for engaging culture via entertaining yet conscious music to influence society’s moral journey while promoting strong upright values.
