We have just been informed that an exclusive audio conversation purported to be and Farouk Lawan soliciting Femi Otedola for $3 million has been obtained by Channels Television.
According to our sources who have listened to the audio, Lawan allegedly asked for his $2.5 million balance from the oil chief, and noted that “his boy”, an aide, would pick it up.
Lawan also dictated the aide’s phone (08036513355) and identified him as TJ, informing Otedola that he would be in the House of Representatives chambers and would be unable to retrieve the money himself.
“Channels TV has obtained part of the audio recording purported to be the conversation between Farouk Lawan and Femi Otedola,” confirms Kayode Akintemi, the station’s General Manager Operations.
The station will be breaking the audio live on television and as soon we have confirmed, we will keep you posted.
