Ebikeme Clark, the kidnapped son of Second Republic Information Minister and elder statesman, Edwin Clark has been released.

The younger Clark was left off the hook early this morning after he was abducted last Wednesday in Kaigbodo Brutu local government area of Delta State by unknown gunmen.

The abductors later demanded a N60 million ransom for his release but it is not clear if this money was paid.

Reports say the victim was dropped at Bomadi waterside by the kidnaappers.

Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Ikechukwu Adaba, confirmed the safe release of Ebikeme this morning.

He has since reunited with his family.
