Ene Emmanuel, a commercial sex worker has been sentenced by a Lagos court to three months imprisonment for re-appearing before the it.
The convict was jailed by the Chief Magistrate of the Tinubu Magistrates’ Court, O. Awogboro who said the she had previously appeared before the court bearing a different name.
Emmanuel, 21, was found guilty of one count charge of soliciting for sex.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Chidi Okoye, told the court that the accused committed the offence at about 2.00 a.m. on November 8 on Victoria Island.
“On the previous arraignment, the accused had presented herself as “Josephine Ogu“ which was a false name,” Mr. Okoye said.
Sentencing the accused, Awogboro said: “I sentence the accused to three months imprisonment with hard labour for the crime committed”.
