iShoot by Obi Somto: These Little Ones

by Obi Somto

We believe that art is life, and that there’s an art lover in everyone. That’s why YNaija is pushing the envelope yet again to bring you a striking new photography column named ‘iShoot’ by talented photographer/retoucher, Obi Somto. In this weekly column, we present an album of brilliant photographs from Somto’s collection, each linked by a theme.

In our first edition, themed ‘These Little Ones’, we commemorate Nigerian children – tomorrow’s leaders and the future of our dear country, by bringing you touching photos of children from all over the nation.

Peekabo, I see you!

Before the baptism
Her sister's keeper
Black and white stare
See, I can touch heaven!

'Words are ghosts that haunt me'
I spy, with my little eye
Our magic carpet
Till we Light Up Nigeria, you can have my little light
