42-year-old Grammy winner, Toni Braxton has finalised her  divorce from husband, Keri Lewis after 12-years of marriage.

A statement revealed that the divorce was amicable and both will be actively  involved in raising their two sons, 11-year-old Denim and  10-year-old  Diezel.

People.com reported the official divorce news  while the DailyMail said that she admitted in her VH1 Behind the Music special last October that the split with Lewis in  2009 took a toll on her.

‘I had to figure out a plan for my life that  had nothing to do with  him,’ she said.

‘I was angry with everybody. I couldn’t  believe this was happening to me. I felt that I was a person dealing with a lot  of  struggles and here comes another one.’
