Nigerians living in Boston Massachusetts, US held a #BringBackOurGirls peaceful protest on Thursday, May 8.
There has been a global outcry over the abduction of over 230 schoolgirls in Chibok, Borno by the Boko Haram Islamic sect on April 14 pressuring the Nigerian government to act fast and end the terrorism menace once and for all. Among the protesters is Iyabo Obasanjo, the daughter of Nigeria’s former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
Today marks 25 days the schoolgirls have been missing with no visible progress made in bringing them back home safely to their parents.
