J. Cole keeps two-year-old promise to attend this fan’s High School graduation

J. Cole kept the promise he made to a high school student who contact him a while ago.

Almost two years ago, a young lady named Cierra Bosarge wrote a letter to Cole that inspired him so much that he promised her he’d attend her high school graduation when the time came. There was one condition — Cole would only show up if Cierra got accepted into a four-year college.

Well, Cierra kept her end of the bargain and, when the time came, there was Jermaine to watch her get her diploma at Washington Township High School in Sewell, N.J. If that wasn’t enough, Cole rerouted his tour to make sure he’d be able to attend, and he’s also going to help Cierra pay for her college tuition.

Artists can make songs that you like, but it takes special people to actually help change lives for the better. While Cole says Cierra was the one who inspired him, it was his promise that undoubtedly played a huge part in Cierra turning her academics around and punching her ticket to college.
