The 68th Golden Globe Awards is held annually by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) to honour excellence in American and foreign film and television, and it took place on Sunday, 16th January at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, California.
Each year, the highly anticipated Golden Globes are regarded as the best source of hints at potential winners of the more globally acclaimed Oscar Awards. The nominees are voted for by 83 HFPA members, who have the additional task of organizing the awards ceremony and co-producing the accompanying show with the legendary 54-year old Dick Clark Productions entertainment production company.
This year there were big wins for the hit-spawning musical series, ‘Glee’, last year’s Facebook tale, ‘The Social Network’ and Mark Wahlberg’s boxing movie, ‘The Fighter’. Here are some photos and a comprehensive list of winners from the event.
