VIDEO: Lace, structure, romance! Elizabeth Waldorf presents her first collection

by Yemi Olowu

The collection was inspired by the creative director, Jane Ole ‘s appreciation for art, architecture, and the beauty of a woman in love.

The colour palate is mostly dominated by blacks, greys, and snake-skin. There are lots of structured tailoring with a good mix of Ready to wear pieces and couture.

” Lace is such a delicate fabric to work with, the sheerness of lace fascinates me, I think its one of the most beautiful fabrics in the world. Tweed is a classic and timeless fabric it represents what we believe in at Elizabeth Waldorf, that a woman should be able to wear garment years after she purchased or pass it down to her generations to come.” Jane Ole

Elizabeth Waldorf merchandise will be available in select retail stores all over the world and on www.elizabethwaldorf.com
