Stephen Paddock, the 64-year-old shooter responsible for the worst mass shooting in modern US history has been revealed by Vegas police to have craftily planned the attack, acquired weapons over a decade and lived a secret life.
A Federal Bureau of Investigation agent while speaking at a news conference on Wednesday, however said, “there was no evidence at this point to indicate that the mass shooting was an act of terrorism”.
Having questioned Marilou Danley, the alleged girlfriend of the shooter and found she had no privy knowledge of the attack, no one has been taken into custody as a suspected accomplice, says FBI Special Agent-in-Charge, Aaron Rouse.
Police also declared in a separate news conference that 317 of the 489 people injured in the Las Vegas shooting have been discharged from hospitals.
