A 10-year-old primary school pupil has accused her step-father, Alabi Ibrahim, of raping her.

The victim alleged that the her step-father habitually had carnal knowledge of her at their residence at Opara Estate, Aiyetoro Road in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The little girl had innocently shared her ordeal with her sibling who leaked the secret to her mother.

Her mother promptly reported her daughter’s accusations to the police. The 62-year-old grandpa was said to have gone missing when the police came after him around the Onikolobo area of the Ogun State capital.

Narrating her ordeal, the victim reportedly claimed that each time her step father had sex with her, he  usually  threatened to kill her if she told anybody about it.

She said; “Daddy always came to me when mummy was not at home, and warned me not to tell anybody, so that I wouldn’t die”.

The state police public relations officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident saying the police will do everything to apprehend the suspect with a view to charging him to court on charges of defilement.

“The police totally condemn the act. He will not be spared. The man will be charged to court, after a thorough investigation,” Adejobi assured.
