The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has asked Nigerians with valid travel documents to shun a warning by Senior Special Adviser to the President on Foreign Affairs, Abike Dabiri-Erewa not to travel to the US.

Dabiri-Erewa had said Nigerians with no urgent reasons should avoid visiting the US pending when Donald Trump’s immigration policy becomes clear.

But Onyeama while speaking to journalists on Monday said Nigerians should ignore the warning.

He said the US Ambassador to Nigeria has said the travel policies will not affect Nigerians.
