APC candidate, Audu Abubakar, wins his polling unit

Audu Abubakar, the candidate of All Progressive Congress, in the Kogi governorship election, has won his polling unit. Audu won polling unit 002, LGEA School, Ogbonicha/Ofeche, Ochi-Ogbonicha Omodofa Ward 10 with 240 votes. Edicha Matthew, announced the result, stating that out of the 654 on voters’ register, only 255 were accredited.

Ballot snatching: INEC cancels election in Ayingba

The governorship election in Itaja Ward in Ayingba in Dekina LGA of Kogi, has been cancelled by the Independent National Electoral Commission in Kogi. The election was cancelled as a result of the ballot-snatching incident in the ward.
