“The people have chosen Change” | Ondo poll results project a win for Akeredolu

Rotimi Akeredolu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ondo State is set to emerge governor-elect of Ondo State as results released so far have pointed to that direction.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has released results from 17LGAs out of 18 in the state.

The results clearly show Akeredolu already polling 213,686 votes with Eyitayo Jegede of the PDP having 121,471 votes and Olusola Oke, 90,674 votes.

The final announcement will be made at 11am after the results for one more LGA is revealed.

Meanwhile, Akeredolu in a series of tweets has expressed gratitude to the people of Ondo State for voting him.

He tweeted, “Ondo has decided and I am humbled that my people chose me. Our time to Think Anew and Act Anew has come. Thank You Ondo State. OndoDecides.”

In another tweet, he wrote: “Thank you Ondo”.
