Police offers N50 million reward for information on missing Chibok schoolgirls

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has released a statement offering a cash reward of Fifty million Naira (N50, 000, 000.00) to anyone with vital information concerning the rescue of the abducted Chibok school girls.

The force’s  public relations officer,Frank Mba who made the statement added that the reward was to involve the general public to make the search for the girls quicker.

He also said any citizen who has information would be treated anonymously with utmost confidentiality.

The information was uploaded on the official website of the Nigeria Police Force.

It read:

The Nigeria Police hereby announce a cash reward of Fifty Million Naira  (N50, 000, 000.00) to anyone who volunteers credible information that will lead to the location and rescue of the female students abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.

The Force urges all patriotic citizens with such useful information to contact the following numbers:

While calling on the general public to be part of the solution to the present security challenge, the Police High Command also reassures all citizens that any information given would be treated anonymously and with utmost confidentiality.
