Ikechukwu Clinton Nnaemeka, professionally known as “Ragee,” is a 29-year-old Nigerian songwriter and producer. Ikechukwu began his musical career in the church choir as a drummer and later became a rapper and songwriter before venturing into music production.
He made his mainstream debut in the Nigerian music industry when he produced Davido’s hit track “Unavailable” under the tagline “Initiating Rage Process” in 2023, and it peaked at number 1 on the UK Afrobeats singles chart for five weeks and reached number 8 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. Ragee’s entrance into Afrobeats came in 2020, when he produced “Have Fun” for Bad Boy Timz, before going on to work with Davido and produce two songs off his fourth studio album, “Timeless.”
In 2022, he was rated among the 2022 Top 10 Producers according to Pulse Nigeria, and he worked on some of Ayra Starr’s most successful tracks, including “Commas,” “Hot Body,” and “Woman Commando.”
