America’s basketball team clinched gold in both the male and female events in Rio 2016.
The female team trashed Spain 101-72, while the male team outclassed Serbia 96-66. Serbia beat France 70-63 to claim bronze in the female event, as Spain beat Australia 89-88.
Team USA topped the final medal standing with 46 gold, 37 silver and 38 bronze. The Great Britain surprised many, themselves inclusive as they came second beating China to third.
Nigeria came a distant 78th with its bronze medal in the men’s football event.
