Grammy Awards nominated American singer, music composer/producer and rapper, Ryan Leslie will be collaborating with Storm Records on some projects real soon. According to Obi Asika, Storm Records’ boss, the American is a friend of the Storm music imprint and he’s in talks with the label’s management presently on working together on a project.
“I met with him in London recently and although nothing is official yet, we are in talks on working together,” Asika said.
He also debunks rumour that Storm Records is planning to sign the American to the label.
“I have heard that Storm Records is signing Ryan and I just laugh; for the sake of clarification, we are not signing Ryan, we are only talking about working together on a project,” the storm boss reveals.
Storm Records is presently home to MTV Africa Music Awards winning rapper, Naeto C; front running female rapper, Sasha; ‘Edon Dey Madt’ rapper, Sauce Kid; and dancehall star, General Pype.
