This time it is really happening. Crossover screen diva Funke Akindele will premiere her long awaited “The Return of Jenifa” on the 7th of October 2011 in Lagos. After a successful showing at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in New York City, the sequel to the top selling “Jenifa” finally comes home.
In the film, we are reacquainted with the irrepressible Jenifa as she takes on new challenges and partakes in more exploits on her way to becoming a “Bigs gurlz’’
‘’The Return of Jenifa’’ was directed by DJ Tee and features cameo appearances by actors Antar Laniyan, Yinka Quadri, music acts; Omawumi, eLDee and TV stars Helen Paul and Denrele.
