In a country where some people are never given access to a better life, they might become menaces to society.  This fact presented itself when a 34-year old man in Lufkin, Texas was charged with robbery after trying to shoplift in a store.  When the man was caught, he allegedly told the security guard that he has HIV and that he’ll bite him if he tried to apprehend him.

Christopher Lee Carr, of Lufkin is in jail in Angelina County, now putting his fellow inmates at risk.  He has been charged with second degree robbery after the incident and no bail has been set as of yet.

Police say that Carr did his deed at a Sears store and when police arrived, a shopper pointed them to Carr.  The officers got closer and saw a man on the floor in handcuffs.  The security guard from the store said that they saw the man stealing on the surveillance video.   When he tried to get away, the man allegedly pushed the guards and punched them.

“While she was trying to subdue the subject, who has a lengthy criminal history for theft, Carr yelled at her that he has AIDS and began barking and trying to bite [the security supervisor],” the report stated.

The police confirmed that the man is indeed HIV positive.
