Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday said the Federal Government will do all it can to resolve the crisis in Southern Kaduna.
Osinbajo, who visited the area on Tuesday said this in a series of tweets via his personal Twitter account.
He said, “A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet with Southern Kaduna leaders from CAN, JNI, Meyeti Allah at a meeting organised in Kaduna.
“Yesterday, I continued engagements with individual parties, first with Jama’atul Nasril-Islam, Miyetti Allah, The Pastural Resolve Jama’a Foundation, Southern Kaduna Muslims, Muslim Youths Foundation of Southern Kaduna and then later CAN representatives, Christian Elders Forum and Southern Kaduna Peoples Forum.
“Both parties acknowledge that the issues of Southern Kaduna have been around for a while.
“We will continue to meet the parties individually and collectively till those issues are largely resolved. Together, Nigeria will prevail.”
