The TechWomen programme is an initiative of the Institute of International Education, under of the auspices of the US Department of State.
The programme is particularly targeted at promising women technoprenuers, from around the Middle East and Africa, who show commitment to addressing concerns of global climate change and environmental issues, especially in their home countries.
Intending applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years full-time professional experience in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. They must be proficient in written and spoken English but not hold U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. legal permanent resident.
