The homepage of the Police’s website says everything about its inefficiency #EndSARS

The Nigeria Police Force has been in the news for the past few days. And this is not due to any heroics of men of the Force, but because of atrocities allegedly committed by men of its Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS). The men of this squad have been accused of theft, sexual harassment, extortion, armed robbery, assault, and outright murder.

But a quick look at the official website of the Nigeria Police Force, http://www.npf.gov.ng/index.php is a clear indication of how ineffective, inept, and inefficient the Police is.

The homepage of the site features a speech from Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris. One would expect that the handler of the website would have uploaded yesterday’s order for the restructuring of SARS. But, because the Police is ineffective and absolutely unprofessional, the most recent post on its homepage is dated June 22, 2016. What a wow!

If the Police cannot update a simple website, how then, can it be trusted to reform an entire team of alleged cold killers.

Sigh.
