It’s been contentious on TwitterNG today, following the dramatic endorsement of Atiku for President in 2019 by one of Buhari’s ministers, Mama Taraba. She set the ball rolling on which candidates should be fielded ahead of the next elections and Twitter NG has run with it.

[In case you missed it]: “Atiku will be the worst thing to happen to Nigeria”

It’s not like these decisions are buttoned up on social media, however, social media played an important role in securing Buhari’s presidency in 2015. So while it’s still early days yet, this convo has the potential of turning the wheels in a candidate’s favour.
