He said, “There are so many of them, but to mention a few, Wizkid, Davido, Tekno… Like I said, a few.”
“These guys are pushing boundaries and making things happen. The next generation always has to carry the baton and take it to the next level, I am really proud of these guys.”
The music icon also spoke about the inspiration behind his latest single ‘Holy Holy’.
“A whole lot of things as matter of fact, but basically, the subject of the song tell you exactly about people who think they are better than everybody, always having negative thoughts rather those positive ones, people that never take responsibility for where they are,” he said.

On whether he was ever going to make peace with former labelmate Blackface, 2baba said he would not want to talk about the rift between them.
2baba also explained the reason why he eventually settled down with actress Annie Idibia.
“I was just deceiving myself,” he said.
“At some point in my life, I just started realising this is who I wanted to be with, who I actually want to spend my life with; this is the only person that does it for me.”
