This Should Concern You: CGRI G3.1 Sustainability Reporting training in Nigeria

CSR-in-Action is partnering with Environmental & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) South Africa, a GRI certified training partner, to carry out the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3.1 training for the second time in Nigeria, following a successful run in October 2011. This training will result in participants receiving GRI certification from the headquarters in Amsterdam.

The Global Reporting Initiative Framework is the world’s most recognized standard whose framework supports the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Communication on Progress (COP) and the ISO 2600 standards. Upon completion of this course and workshop, participants will be able to produce, manage and/or actively participate in and contribute to the process of the development of a world-class sustainability report.

Course Date: 2 April – 4 April 2012

Course Duration: 3 days

Time: 8am – 5pm, daily

Course Venue: Canton Concourse, 12 Landbridge Avenue, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos

Course Fee: N250, 000*

Course Content:

·         The 2-day GRI certified course on Sustainability Reporting, which results in participants receiving the GRI certificate

·         A 1-day workshop on GRI Performance Indicators, which addresses the content of a GRI sustainability report.

Managers and officers from Credit/Risk Assessment, Corporate Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility, Compliance, Sustainability Communications or Assurance, Human Resources, Business Process, Brand/Investor Relations are all going to be in attendance.
