Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the US Government had “absolutely nothing” to do with the controversial American-made film that has sparked violent protests at its embassies across the Middle East with its portrayal of the Prophet Mohammad.
Clinton called the video “disgusting” and reprehensible, Reuters reported, and said the US Government absolutely rejected its content and message.
But she said the content of the video was no excuse for the recent widespread violence.
Her comments came as a US law enforcement agency named “Nakoula” as the filmmaker responsible for the anti-Muslim film.
