Ayra Starr reveals she has never fallen in love
Nigerian singer-songwriter Oyinkansola Aderigbigbe, popularly known as ‘Ayra Starr’, confessed in an interview with Dazed Magazine, a British lifestyle magazine, that she has never fallen in love.
The 22-year-old Grammy-nominated singer revealed all there was to know about her love life, saying that despite being known for her melodious voice and gut-wrenching love and heartbreak song lyrics, she has yet to fall in love.
“I want to fall in love. I wrote ‘Lagos Love Story’ about what love would look like if I was. I am a lover girl deep in my heart; I’m just very strong-headed about it. I have never been in love. I have been in certain situations—not situationships—but I have never been in a fully committed relationship,” she said.
“I’ve put myself out there and tried to see what’s there, but I don’t think I’ve had the time. I’ve been working since I was 15, I have been modelling, I have been attending university, and now I’m on the road.

Sharon Ooja reveals how God provided her with a husband
In June, Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja, who recently married the love of her life, Ugo Nwoke, finally opened up about how she met her husband.
The film star attended a service at the Harvesters International Church led by Bolaji Idowu. There, she gave a testimony saying that she had been praying for a husband tirelessly until she had an encounter with the Holy Spirit in a desert.
“I was filming in the desert last year and had a heavy encounter with the Holy Spirit. We were not with our phones because there was no network anytime we went into the desert. So, I was detached from people. And I remember the Holy Spirit telling me to leave my burdens here on a land where it will never grow. It is not a fertile ground. I prayed and I told God that I was ready,” she said.
Gbenga Adeyinka alleges that he, Bovi and Basketmouth host better shows than Trevor Noah
Nigerian comedian Gbenga Adeyinka spoke highly of his colleagues and their talents at hosting shows on a podcast titled “Our Two Kobo”.
Mr Adeyinka boasted of Bovi and Basketmouth in comparison with Trevor Noah, a South African television host.
According to Gbenga Adeyinka, “Trevor is amazing. He is funny. I think there are Nigerians who can do what he is doing better. Basketmouth will do the daily show better. Bovi, Okey Bakassi, and I will do it better.”
