Nathanial Bassey set to perform at Trump’s pre-inauguration breakfast

Nigerian gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has announced that he will perform at the US President-elect Donald Trump’s pre-inauguration breakfast.

The event is set to take place on January 20 in Washington, D.C., ahead of Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.

The gospel singer took to social media to reveal the news, stating that the presidential prayer breakfast is a faith-based platform, a non-official and non-governmental event.

Kiddwaya reveals a desire to join the music industry

Nigerian TV reality star Kiddwaya has expressed his desire to join the Nigerian music industry, following in the footsteps of the Big Brother previous winner and ex-housemate, Whitemoney.

Terseer Waya, also known as Kiddwaya, said he had been contemplating pursuing a career in the music industry, using his father’s wealth to advance his career so he could become the next big artist in Nigeria and Africa.

“Maybe I should enter this music business as well. Popsi is rich, so we go just hire the best of everyone. Make I kuku see wetin sup.”

Frank Edoho recounts how he was almost fired from WWTBAM

Nigerian host and media personality, Frank Edoho opened up about his days as the host of the game show, ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’, claiming that he once almost lost his job.

According to Edoho, there had been domestic violence allegations made against him after he had separated from his ex-wife Katherine Obiang, whom he had married for seven years and blessed with three children.

Frank Edoho spoke to Chide Jideonwo in an interview on the WithChude podcast. He said that shortly after his divorce from his wife, these rumours began spreading, threatening to ruin his career at WWTBAM.

Iyabo Ojo reveals she regrets advocating for Mohbad’s exhumation

Nigerian filmstar, Iyabo Ojo spoke up about her experience since advocating for the exhumation of Nigerian singer Mohbad.

The singer died on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day. His body was exhumed on September 21, 2023, by the police force for autopsy.

“I did my best. If I knew Mohbad’s case would turn out this way, I wouldn’t have requested that he be exhumed,” she said.

“He hasn’t been buried till now. The dad says he wants a DNA test done, and I hear the court has granted that now, but I hear the dad has conditions again.”
