Tope Alabi set to start reality show mentoring new artists
Nigerian gospel Tope Alabi is set to launch her new reality show, “At Home with Tope Alabi.” The show aims to mentor upcoming gospel artists in the country.
Mrs Alabi revealed in an interview that she received a divine mandate to start the show eight years ago, and she is now ready, to begin with the reality TV show and hopes to make it an annual show if she finds a source of funding for it.
“I got this message about eight years ago that I should bring young gospel singers together in a retreat and mentor them. In the process of doing that, I will be inviting ministers of God and prominent gospel musicians to join us.”
Topher, Kassia and Ocee evicted from BBNaija
Topher, Kassia and Ocee have sadly been evicted from the Big Brother Naija season 9 show.
The housemates were all asked to evict the show due to their low votes on Sunday night. They had been put up for eviction earlier in the week, along with Anita, Nelly, Wanni, Ozee, Victoria, and Onyeka.
With the eviction of these three, the show is nearly ending, and the Big Brother Naija “No Loose Guard” edition will soon reveal the winner of the ₦100 million grand prize.
Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan go blow-for-blow in ₦1 billion lawsuits
Nigerian influencer and socialite Bobrisky filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against VeryDarkMan in response to his allegations of using an AI-generated voice of her (Bobrisky) to tarnish her public image shortly after leaving prison.
VeryDarkMan threatened that everyone would be vindicated in the legal battle and has also countered Bobrisky’s lawsuit by saying he’s saying her for the sum ₦1,000,000,020.
“Bobrisky, did you not say you wanted to ‘kpai’ yourself? Are you not doing it again? Anyway, in this case, they will exchange their credibility for my publicity again as usual. I will suffer them. The integrity of a lot of people will go down. You will hate why you take this case like this. I promise you that. From now, Bobrisky now has the strength to sue me and gave me 24 hours. That means they are working together. I am thinking what I have exposed is bigger than what it is,” VDM said.
Jaywon and Odumodublvck trade words over Ayra Starr’s photo with Future
Odumodublvck took a jab at Nigerian singer Jaywon who once took a picture with Grammy-nominated singer Ayra Starr.
Odumodublvck took to X (formerly Twitter), using a picture of Ayra Starr with Future and another of Ayra and Jaywon, captioning it with “this life ehn”.
Jaywon took offence to this and quoted the rapper, saying he was already dragging his senior.
“Lol, you’re already dragging your senior; who’s to drag you? You haven’t even started life, and you’re already stepping on toes,” Jaywon said.
