What’s Up Africa: YouTube show features African Teletubbies dancing to D’Banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’

by Chi Ibe

This week on What’s Up Africa (WUA), Ikenna Azuike features a debate about the boundaries of African jokes,  he also raves about a ‘mysterious’ new African Teletubbies show featuring the Teletubbies dancing to D’Banj’s Oliver Twist.

He concludes with music from jazz goddess, Layori and Luis Vuitton’s summer 12 collection inspired by Kenya’s Masai.

‘What’s Up Africa’ is a weekly YouTube show presented by Azuike he says the show has evolved since its creation. “It’s a bit of fun and there’s an item on an interesting debate about black comics in the UK referencing Africans more and more in their comedy,” he said.

Azuike also told YNaija: “I think it’s kinda fresh and hopefully fun to watch a weekly overview of stuff I think is cool and going on throughout Africa.”
